Scott Houk, Host

As co-host of The Coin Vault, Scott brings decades of experience not only in coins, but also stamps, sports memorabilia, and many other types of collectibles.
"I started collecting coins at a young age in the mid 1960’s, as many do, looking through change to fill my penny, nickel, and dime books," said Scott.
While serving four years as a technical instructor in the United States Air Force, Scott developed a passion for speaking to, and educating others.
"One of the most satisfying parts of doing the show, is knowing that our viewers may learn something new, which allows them to enjoy the hobby more," said Scott.
Scott can often be seen at coin shows across the country, where he spends a great deal of time keeping up with the hottest trends in the coin hobby.

Robert Chambers, Host

For more than 20 years, renowned coin enthusiast and numismatic authority Robert Chambers has hosted The Coin Vault bringing collectors and numismatists the opportunity to own some of the world's finest rare coins.
Like many collectors, Robert's interest in collectibles began at an early age. Robert's passion became his profession in 1988, when he took a chance on an audition on Shop at Home. He screen tested on Wednesday, was hired Thursday, and on the air by Friday. As the old saying goes, the rest is history.
Over the last two decades, Robert has delivered over $1,000,000,000 in collectible coins to collectors throughout the United States. His motto: Describe exactly what the item is, be precise about the grade or condition, and deliver it in the timeliest fashion.
"This is a homecoming of sorts for me," said Robert. " Joe hired me to sell a little of everything back in 1988. Everything from apple trees to lingerie, jewelry, watches, electronics; I've pretty much sold it all. Coins, Sports cards and memorabilia are my true passions. I've been lucky enough to host The Coin Vault for 20 years. We at Coin Vault have always taken tremendous pride in offering the finest in rare coins, currency, and the latest certified releases.

Robert is married to Whitney Smith and they celebrated their 20th Anniversary in 2009. They have two children; son Alex ,18, and daughter Arin, 13, a seventh grader. They have a chocolate lab and a schnauzer/dachshund mix. They are all Master SCUBA Diver Certified and enjoy diving together as a family.

Shawn Leflar, Host

Shawn Leflar is not new to the coin world having spent the better part of the last fifteen years offering the best collectibles on television. He hails from Germantown,Tn. where his interest in coins started at an early age when his grandfather gave him a bicentennial dollar and told him "one day this will be worth more than its face value"!

Shawn majored in Theater and minored in broadcasting while playing soccer for The University of North Carolina at Charlotte and The University of Tennessee. His love of soccer and travel led him to Tampa and Atlanta for three years at the professional level.

After his pro career came to an end Shawn went to his second love which was television. It was here that he landed his first hosting gig with VIA T.V. where he was hired on Monday and put on air Tuesday. He worked with the likes of Lisa Robertson and Steve Colantuno where his training happened on air live. After leaving VIA T.V. Shawn went to work for Shop At Home where he stayed for thirteen years offering everything from sports to cookware. His love of collectibles landed him on The Coin Vault,Sports Room and Knife Collectors show from day one. Over the years Shawn has sold more than a half billion dollars including some of the finest coins and currency the world has ever seen.

Outside of work Shawn still does commercials and acting when he is not playing with his Eight year old son Ryan. He even was selected to do the first ever live web cast of a Major League Soccer game where his professional playing helped with his sideline reporting. Shawn still plays and travels with his Nashville team, and when not on a soccer field he can be found on a golf course. His wife Crystal and Schnauzer Max round out the Leflar home.
